This is an IOT project connecting our I-SITE posters to pub go-ers mobile phones using the physical web. We wished to provide pub go-ers with a location based digital experience based around events of Easter 1916. In each location the pub go-er were directed to events on their mobile phones as to what events had unfolded in the neighbouring streets 100 years previously.
To compare the hear and now vis a vis to 100 years previous, we used the technologies of the physical web and there was no need to use a specialised app.
